Description

The planetary nebula Jones-Emberson1 (JnEr1, PK164+31.1) is 1600ly way, around 4ly diameter. Its visible size is around 6'x7' spreading 14m which makes the surface brightness very low. The blue dwarf in the center that is driving the whole show is just 16.8m. And this is a spectacular show! Earth size dwarf is emitting enough UV power to blow and lit ~4ly big bubble!

This target is in my list for long time and decided to give a try as first light of new filters. It was not the best part of its season and lost a clear skies weekend struggling with hardware problem in filter-wheel... However managed to get some light and assure why Astrodon filters are so highly rated Definitely in the next season will take 3-4 times more total exposure and hope to fix the star elongation problem by then...
